Since the freeze colors here have changed almost over night, if there is any of them left tomorrow after this storm I'll try to get a couple of shots.
Nice pictures you guys.

Ruger1,
there is color everywhere but mostly around the house the trees are tall and you have to look up.
Mostly Oaks, Hickory's, and Red Cedar, but there is a little bit of everything growing here.
I didn't clear out a lot to build on, I just mowed the weeds and placed a house among the trees, snaked a drive way between them.

This is the best color here that I have seen in many years.

I was coming back from feeding the horses and goats and saw this , went home and got the camera and came back and took the pictures.  While I was taking these I heard a ruckus across the pony pen by the creek. Then I heard some grunting and I knew it was a buck chasing some does and not our resident bears.  Momentarily some does crashed thru the woods and then I saw the buck, he stopped and browsed in front of me.  So I zoomed in and got his picture.  The deer come here during deer season because its 85 acres of safe haven and I've trained all my GSDs not to run the deer.  Next post is the buck and I took some pictures of the mountain in front of the house.
