Violence is in all religions.. Just look at what the KKK bases it's ideals and principles on? Or least what they CLAIM.. They claim to be a Christian organization.. Bet they have done some chanting and used some intimidation techniques themselves, eh? Also some Neo Nazi movements have heavily involved their version of "Christianity" into their little clubs.. So don't think Muslims are the only ones.. And this is just in current times, lets not even get into violence in biblical times..
I don't know where this got into me defending all Muslim sects, as I stated yes, there are extremely violent, bat shit crazy versions of the religion, and extremist that are dangerous.. Same as ANY religion.. People of any race, religion or nationality perverting spiritual teachings to benefit their own agendas.. I don't care for any of it, whatever religion you claim.. As I have said numerous times, I don't have preconceived ideas about a whole group of people based on what religion they are, I base my opinion on someone by their own, personal actions..

It is not on my agenda list to try and make the Christian faith appealing to you or anyone else for that matter,,I will that to Him..;)
Reading your posts I think it is safe to assume that you are not interested in a Biblical perspective on things anyway ,,That is ok, just don't assume because someone does not embrace what you feel is "Christian like", does not necessarily mean that it is not in fact a biblical Christian principle, idea, command, or standard,,...or whatever,,
I too am not the least bit interested in what people say they are,,I make a judgment based on how they treat and speak to others ( especially those they disagree with )
IMO, the way a person speaks is the biggest indicator of a persons character..And the way they treat people (animals too for that matter),,,follows closely behind..
off to work,,:)

And to be clear, are you claiming that racism, hatred, violence and killing folks are actually Christian like behaviors and principles? WoW... Maybe I should stick to what I believe is Christ like..

in fact you have not contradicted or exposed anything you have added and overlayed and put words in the mouth of proposition A that were never stated, classic obfuscation and straw man fallacy - effective and subtle and always makes you look like yr arguing from the point of the victim when in fact it is a false argument that is passive aggressive.
a technique to make an assertion without actually providing a valid counter-assertion, just introducing a new one.
the most famous of which is proving the existence of a creator by asserting that atheism is somehow a formal part of evolutionary theory and claiming both are in fact just another religion and hence if they are religions they imply a creator. classic Hovind, Kent, Lisle...etc

And did she actually admit that she believes the ugly things I pointed out that people use religion to excuse, racism, violence, ect is actually Christ like, in her mind?? I swear she was calling me a woman of loose morals!!
hahahaha... If she only knew the half of it ;)
