We agree on that Vk..........In a short form, I will tell you this about the Bible--all MHO---I was raised in the Baptist church and they preach fire and brimstone, like the funky pics they put in the Bible.I said this in another post that I don't do well with threatening....and this is how the whole deal, in a nutshell, made me feel.............now that I am 50 yrs older--it is what it is-part of the beauty of man is our ability to explore all the options--I love learning.............good brain exercise.....

Bee, I did read it, but too long ago to recall the method !
Refresh my memory ?
I have a feeling whatever it was, what was barely sufficient
for one human + one tiger probably would not have helped
on the Ark !  But can't lay hands on my copy to check.

I am not going to debate with (tares) non-believers, but I just want to cover some of the points regarding flood since I created this thread.
How can a flood cover a whole earth?
I don’t know but some people could believe; can it rain enough to cover the whole earth? You really could think it rain enough to cover Mt. Everest? But the truth is when it rains heat is released, when moister turns to liquid and if rain enough to cover Mt. Everest it would completely cooked the world, and some people may conclude it rain enough to cover Mt. Everest? And that is fallacy of thinking.
And, we can’t assume Mt. Everest was there to begin with and we can’t assume all the water came from rain, you got two faulty assumptions in thinking here.
What about this flood?
This is what I think what caused that flood? What triggered? Where did the water come from? Where did it go? And what effects we see today?
The Bible says there was a canopy of water above the atmosphere and water under the crest of the earth, Psalm 24 (1-2) says: The earth is the Lord’s…He hath founded it upon the seas. And established upon the floods…Psalm 33:7 says: He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. The water use to be under the crust the earth. Psalms 136:6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: See what God first made the world, crust of the earth was stretched over, most of the water that now on top was underneath crust of the earth. There was vas sub water chambers, there are still huge amounts of water, huge water chambers down in the earth. Back in 2003 Japanese drill down, I am not sure how deep it was, but they said it’s probably more water deep in the crust of the earth than there is in the surface of the earth, there is whole a lot of water down there.
The Bible says Genesis 7:11-12 the fountains of the deep broke opened; it says all of them in one day broke open. Here is what I think happened, the earth has cracks all over the places, mid atlantic ridge, the san andreas fault, Hayward fault, new madrid fault, the golden fault, ring of fire. There is no question the earth is all busted into plates; the earth has gone through really hard times. I think that happened at the time of the flood NOT millions of years ago.
Bible says in Job 38: 8-11 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
The Bible says the water gushed out the earth like water out of the womb, I thinks plates of the earth broke apart, fault lines are still today from what happened during the flood and the earth is broken up into plates and the plates are still moving little bit, which causes earthquakes, volcanoes, such disasters.
If you don’t agree that is fine by me. Thank you for reading. Shtal.

I am not going to speculate besides what the Bible says. And if you don't have faith what it says I feel pity for you.

Genesis Chapter 6
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
