I agree the weather has been strange this year. And LF I am in southern Oklahoma and we had 60's this morning. I didn't even turn the air on till about noon--same yesterday. Not that I want it but it should be in the way upper 90's or low 100's. Also we had a hell of a wind and rain storm here Monday. Did a lot of damage in town and yes blew down some of our fence. Right now we have kennel panels up but I think the guys are going to come out next week. My tomatoes are still producing and usually they would have burned up by this time. Man I sure hope this doesn't mean a cold as hell bad winter....................

...More rain this season than in the past 7 years; and temps have been steady at 95-98 every day.  In short, very hot, and very humid, with the dew point typically an oppressive 76 or so.

I have noticed the change of seasons starting sooner and taking longer in the last few years more and more.

I think cold winters with much snow are a thing of the past for me in my location.
At least the mixed up weather here has kept the ticks down for the most part.

(My slice of) UK still seems to be parallelling Moons area;  warm enough
most days by around noon but really quite cold at nights, with
several degrees below 'normal' for August - to the extent neighbours are
complaining about our communal central heating not coming on already.
But I clearly can't just say "Oh, the dreadful British Summer !" this year,
can I ?   [Moons, what Latitude are you on ?]  Weirder n weirder ...

Your much further north, I'm more in line with southern Spain, the Straits of Gibraltar.

Wouldn't matter weather move that way.
