RedS, I could make a distinction as to a motive. There is no motive to shoot these women, it apparently was an act based on an incorrect perception of danger and the fear by the very one's named as a target.
Why is that so hard for you and other's to empathize? Where does it come by that you and others are so sympathetic to the actual person pulling the trigger with purposeful murder, outlining who is destined to receive his judgment? Yet your outrage is reserved for the panicked trigger finger of a lesser cop.
We all agree it doesn't make it right, and it certainly doesn't make what this murder-on-the-mind EX-LAPD has proclaimed to the world, as truth. That your sympathy seems to glorify this outlaw as righteously on the run, along with Felloffher and KTF and, wait, I think everyone responding to this thread but me, that does seem irrational of me, lol.
Of course, he could actually be a bully and have lots of issues that are true in his official report along with some stuff that was inappropriate. Don't think he liked one particular woman on the force... that could have been a whole other web of emotions and motives driving him, too.
I do hope he is taken alive. I am sure he's got his exit plan in mind. We'll see.

You think he will just give up do you?
Do you think the cops shooting the truck had any plans of him living through it to face charges?

He wasn't fired over that particular incident was he? I would imagine most people would react in a similar manner given the set of circumstances. If what he says in his manifesto is true, it would be a refreshing change too have more people stand up and do the right thing instead of ignoring the problem. People giving up and choosing the easy way out has gone on for too long and has enabled this type of corruption to become the norm. I don't condone his actions, but I respect him for fighting the system and it's sad this is how far he's had to take the fight.
Do I understand this correctly? You respect him for killing innocent people? Most people would react in a similar manner for being fired from a job? I will admit I haven't read 90% of the posts on thise thread, maybe I'm missing something?
The thing I enjoy most about these OT threads is a refreshing insight into some of the posters on the PDB.

No, I think he will turn the gun on himself like most mass murderers do.

I doubt he'll get that chance Bee.
Technically he's not a mass murderer yet Bee.

Just to clarify my reasoning, NO, I definitely don't think he is firing on all cylinders either. I do think he may be telling the truth, but when I read his account of how her responded to being called names in grade school, I thought then the guy is a basket case.
However, is what the cops are doing right in your eyes Jim?!
OR understandable??
Good grief.

Bee,
It is all about being anti-government. Even though 2 people on this thread aren't Americans and at least one of them has a very poor opinion of American government. Strange.
I find it a joke one member on this thread can breed non-OFAd dogs sell them on kijiji but slam others. Oh well.
