A 10,000% markup might be a clue.

I see this whole problem is too taxing for you and, well, just a tad beyond your comprehension abilities. There s a pill for that!

No denying it's kinda boring when no one participates,
It would be nice if more did, but that's not gonna happen...

Drug distrbutors and pharmacies also enjoy mark ups on every drug they sell.

"This will sound evil and cold, I know, but it was also selfish to choose to have a child fathered by someone with a hereditary heart condition."
You are so right. Abortion would have been the better choice. How dare I take a gift when I knew the gift would be defective?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Fawndallas, why in the world would you opt to stay with a company that is screwing you to the wall every chance they get? Government red tape has absolutely nothing to do with your finding another insurance company; that's a cop out. Do your homework and chose another provider if it benefits you. You are an insurance company's dream client.”
You are so right, but missed the point is that I work for this company. Oh, I know. I need to quit my job and go on unemployment and welfare until I can find another job. That will really help.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh well, I got my frustration off my chest. Situation didn't change, but at least I do no longer want to scream. I will thank my God that I was raised with more tact, social graces, and common sense than others.

fawndallas, again--I don't know you, I have no reason to think you're anything but a kind, lovely person, and I harbor no ill-will toward you or your family in particular.
I do find it odd, however, when anyone comes to an Internet message board and posts specific details of their life--especially things that are problematic in that life--and then is shocked! shocked and offended, I say! when all the responses aren't all warm-fuzzy-and fully approving of every decision the original poster has mentioned making. Clearly, you weren't raised with enough tact, social graces and common sense to restrain you from voicing your woes despite the fact that some of the distress is of your own making, and weren't merely visited on you by fate alone. If you didn't want to hear truth spoken in response to your rant, you ought not to have provided so detailed an accounting of your problems.
No, I didn't suggest that abortion would have been a better option--I'm pro-choice, which despite the anti-choice camp's misconceptions, is not the same as believing that all pregnancies should be aborted--it only means I believe that such a decision belongs in the hands and heart of the individual woman, not the government or anyone else who isn't going to be undertaking that pregnancy. Since you're postulating what I DID think would have been a better decision on your part, however, what was wrong with opting for fool-proof birth control, such as tubal ligation or a vasectomy, so the two of you wouldn't be giving the 'gift' of a lifetime of illness and surgeries and struggling to stay healthy to another generation? Sorry, but I still believe it is selfish of parents who opt to create biological offspring when they know the risk of passing along a serious health issue is significantly high. There are thousands of children in foster care who desperately need loving homes with good, sane people who wouldn't view the kids as walking meal-tickets...

Dependency..................
That's always been the goal.
Corporate profits out weigh the needs on the many in favor of the few.

Hexe, you made many assumptions. 1. You assumed my son was biological. 2. You assumed precautions were not taken to prevent a pregnancy.
Neither of these directions were in my original post or even suggested at; so, no, I did not bring this part into a public forum.
Notice how only your post went into an untactful direction...... There are certain subjects that it is inappropriate to go into; all of the other strangers on this forum get that, you apparently do not.
