Hi moons

Although so rocky, and very steep I yet have promises to keep.
And far ahead I see the Son.  I,ll take each step one by one.
Until one day on victorys shore.
The clouds that hid my goal,no more will hide the prize, nor mar the way
I will have reached THAT PERFECT DAY.  Luke 1:37
Through Christ Im gonna getcha.

I am still wondering about how this virgin gave birth. Can one of the 2 experts clue me in with the facts?

If not I will take that as a surrender point.

GSD,
that would have been one of those miracles that fall under the great secret, he works in mysterious ways.

As for surrender they only need time to gather more scripture then they will return.

gouda,
your not going to get anyone.

GSD,
why don't you just let all the trolls back in, at least there would be some diversity here.

Just a though,
Moons.

Most all the trolls are back. Some are just so slow on the uptake they haven't figured it out yet and the rest just turned into regular members, it is to bad some of the regular members also have turned into trolls. It is the cycle of life. I am open to troll member requests, if you have any favs.

Still waiting on the virgin giving birth explanation.

At any rate the full moons coming on and I'm gonna take my leave once more for a time.

Moons,

It is a supermoon. I plan on taking pictures if the weather permits. Going to break out the zoom lens and all.

Gouda,

Get a life. It is no pearl, it will be me handing you your ass.

Anytime you want to look like a goof just feel free to answer that one question with facts, you can't so shut up.

BTW, Shtal has now balked at answering the question 4 times, I wonder why?

Moons & GSDadmin.

To reject the Virgin Birth is to imply that our Lord was a nameless bastard. Joseph never claimed to be his father, but finding Mary pregnant was "minded to put her away privily."
Matthew 1:19-- "Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily." Who, then, was the father of Jesus? The only logical answer to this, when the Virgin Birth is rejected, is an immoral coward who covered over his crime with the cloak of anonymity.

O.K.  BOYS BLASPHEME THE HOLY GHOST AT WILL,DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU.

Thanks Gouda at least you didn't run from the question as much as Shtal.

So, let me get this straight, God got a married woman pregnant?  God could have gotten any unmarried virgin pregnant but chose a married woman? Seems almost hypocritical, no? Considering sex outside of marriage is taboo and even if no sex happened, a married woman? My oh my.  Doesn't add up in my mind and shouldn't in anyone using rational thought.

Most marriages are consummated with the act of sex and in those days the act was more for pro-creation than now a days enjoyment of the one you love.  So, did Joesph suffer from ED and was unable to consummate his marriage?

Who verified that Mary was a virgin? Did a mid-wife, doctor or one of the wise men make this determination? What are the facts-because this is something that is easily backed by facts and don't tell me the bible says so. Any woman who proclaims pregnancy while professing to be a virgin would set a lot of people to wondering and no one bothered to check Mary? We are to believe Mary and Joesph even though their could have been plenty of logical reasons to want to hide what actually happened. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me and you or anyone must make a huge leap of blind faith to come to the conclusions of a manmade story written 1000s of years ago.

I am a realist and no book is going to make me believe this story, it is just to farfetched for me.

My views are my personal views and should not be construed as the views of the site owner, other admins or get in the way of my duties as an admin of this site.

Have a good one Gouda and Shtal and unless this thread takes a turn towards factual/logical/intelligent debate I will now retire from the one sided scripture quoting that is sure to follow.
