I think it would go better with pie than in pie....:)

I will never buy store bought pie again............the last one cured me.

No  need to buy store bought pies...pies are easy to make no matter who you are..Kids can even put together a lot of fruit pies or use a cobbler recipe...Use bisquits as the top or crescent rolls laid on bottom or top of casserole...makes pie making very accessible to anyone from 10 to 94......lol

Gezzz even the pie shells are crazy easy.

I don't even use salt 1/2 the time. LOL

Just cut up butter in your flour and a few spoonfulls of cold water.

The lesson I forgot was never go shopping on an empty stomach...lol

It looked so good, the pie on the package, but that was decieving.

My wife makes a decent pie when she has the time, I have the time but I don't bake.

go pick some black berries by the railroad track, come home, rinse them in cold water in a colander,..then come log in and we will guide you thru a very easy process..If some day your wife gets sick and in a state like Mountain Lion is going thru..you will have to cook and bake..

Bee and I can lead you by the  FINGER ON THE KEYS OF YOUR INTERNET MACHINE TO the kitchen real easy..just take the laptop to the kitchen , prop it up on drainboard ...we will be there!!!   No excuses!!     AND NO ARGUMENT OUT OF YOU....

Now I'm thinking about Blackberries, it's a bit early here for them but I do love em.

I'll have to settle for some Cheetos for now...LOL

I don't think I could wait for a pie, I'd have em all eaten before I could make a crust.

That goes out the window with Blackberries, I'm lucky to get more in the bucket than my mouth.

I would say never pick Blackberries on an empty stomach but it wouldn't make any difference....:)

Soon it will be strawberry season here at the pick your own farms. That can only mean one thing.... Strawberry rhubarb pie! Oh my, what a good pie!
