Even if I agreed with everything, it likely wouldn't remedy the greed, fear, and lust for power which give energy to much of what you see happening right now.

Actually i think it could help a lot, a whole lot of those other things you mentioned would dissapate by default. not all but some. In fact a purge might be both necessary and inevitable, beat evolution with evolution we could all become supreme beings and make gods of ourselves.

This logic is acceptable among the people to whom God gave life, we should exclude the people that believe there great, great, great, grandfather was a rock...In logical sense what intelligence would anybody expecting from rock's?

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the unproductive nature of the dialogue between certain individuals may be the unwillingness to make the slightest of concessions for the sake of discourse. Pehaps this speaks to motive.
