I know.
Our history's no better perhaps worst.
As old as man and still happening today.
A loss that can never be restored.

Watch the movie "Rabbit Proof Fence". It'll tear your heart out.
Moons, genocide has happened to indigenous peoples by Eu wherever the Eu happened to land.......the real "alien invasions".

I've seen the movie.
Not that my heart has hardened but surely numbed and every once in a while something will bring a tear to me eyes and i know I'm still here.
To change some people you must become them, and then what's the point.
One way or another in the end I think people like that get what they deserve without my help.

Not to change the subject, but I saw where Branson is offering rocket rides to the edge of space for a quarter of a million dollars a seat.
Now that's innovation that will surely make the world a better place.

It'll make the people who have the dream and can afford it happy. Good for them...better than wasting trillions on killing people.

Besides, it's not Branson's responsibility to make the world a better place....he has anyway.

Moons, do you have resentment for people who succeed and can make a wealth of money doing it. Hey, it's not like he's an insurance company screwing people with the assistance of the gov.

You know what made Henry Ford great was that he knew he needed to produce something for the masses of ordinary people that would improve their lives, not just a quick thrill for the few who already had everything they needed.
The man had true vision and did battle with corporate America and politicians.
He changed this country, helped build it into what it is today, no he wasn't perfect, who is, but some people will forever stand out from the crowd and they are becoming rare.
I'm not knocking Branson but he is no Henry Ford and is not a leader of men.
And I again remember some great men who gave their lives trying to change peoples lives for the better.
They were wrongly taken from us by those who do not care about us or anything else other than themselves.

Moons, we aren't supposed to get a "leader of men" as prez. After all, this isn't supposed to be a dictatorship. But a person to "preside" over the administration. In other words, a man who can develop and run a business like a space shuttle. The US space program will possibly be able to stop depending on Russia's shuttle to get to space station. What about the satellites that modern society relies on? Suppose Branson provides a means for that. Ford was indeed innovative and created the assembly line, changing this country for the better. But this country has grown passed that...we don't need production lines anymore...we buy from others who have the factories. Anyway, you only said who not to have for prez...kinda hard to visualize what that person looks like. Lol
