Thanks Blitzen   yes I am 70 yrs old now and I never had the dreams of ever seeing so much in one short period..Burt has been all over the usa except Hawaii, of which I have been to Hawaii..I wish we had more time but we have to head home as my cocker spaniel and my kids say  You must be home for Thanksgiving..
I have met some great people and it thrills my heart to see America in all its beauty..I will say I have seen the poor  , the haggard and the ones who Progress has left behind...Sad but nothing any individual can do..In california, in EUREKA I saw the hippies laying in the street , begging at McDonalds for a hamburger or money..We have been approached 5 times even in the parking lot of the Hilton Homewood suites in Scottsbluff  for money to find a night of warmth..Of course, the money hand does not always go for what they ask so I just say go to the red cross or tell them any church will help them...They decline and go to the next parking lot...I saw homes broken down and occupied...Fields barren with broken down equipment for sale...????

I am blessed but hard work and dedication to my well being and my family got me to this point along with Burts same goals . God has been good , and I have only had the best open homes and hearts by the members of this Database on this trip. A great big thanks to Abhay and Lisa, Jackie and Shelley, Hank and Sue , Crys Buck and STEPHANIE of Montana Rescue..Bob Smith of K9 of Lakewood WASHINGTON...AND 1Doggie2 in Costa Mesa...such a beautiful visit with all...

WE saw lots of the wind turbines all over the west..
Coal Mining in  Wyoming aroud Gilette
Train in the valley where Coal miners work   TRAIN IS MILES LONG

 The Lombardos in Obrien
Oregon had a sign outside their front entrance on the Hwy..It said  GERMAN SHEPHERD KENNEL
Second sign said  GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPIES.     I  said to Burt as we flew by "Oh , maybe we should stop and see who that is.? "  He ignored and I replied immediately..." I AM SERIOUS!!!! "So Burt pulled off and turned around and we proceeded down a beautiful long drove to find a sign   BITING DOGS  , STAY IN CAR"

Sitting in a chair was Mrs Lombardo, who greeted me and we discussed germans  and I showed her my pics..She then ask "Would you like to see my last pup  left?"

"Of Course" I replied..Going around back I opened the door of truck and slid right into TAHOE..He greeted me with a kiss and let me pat him and was so happy to see me..." A biting dog?"   then came the female and I took pics of all of them..Mr Lombardo came out and was immediately sold on my Texas wang he called it...lol
They have been breeding for 20 years and they entertain school kids to show the importance of obedience in a shepherd ..
Jim and Kathy have been selling gsd pups and are very strict to who they sell them to. Also both dam and sire are DNA and OFA certified.
A very interesting visit to a beautiful place on many acres in the woods..THEY HAVE DIAL UP SO  she said she would try to visit the Database and see her pics here..I have their address and phone number and a pic on the camera of their place..not yet loaded.

He was buying Hamburgers that day for his dog to go to the golf course and hide them for Royal to find. He stated he would love to come on here and talk and learn about what we german shepherd people do in training...He hopefully will join read and if the ST Benard has no forum he will join and make a thread about his boy..He knows to look for Yellowrose in Off Topic..

  READ THE SIGN
What would you think it means?
WELL , it means they have a DOGGY WASH ROOM...,,.,.You leash your dog in the tub and shampoo and dry your dog while dad fills car with gasoline and washes it..
