gouda - This is yet something else which escapes you.  Often, less is more, and some things are better left unsaid.  Religion for the sake of religion is an abhorrent, egregious, and self-serving evil.  Though I may be confident in the veracity of the truth I hold, I am corrupt if I fail to discern, am unable to discern, or refuse to discern who, what, and when to engage.  Are you so foolish to believe that I have not rebuked you scripturally, up one side and down the other because I am not able?  To what end? Simply because I could?  This seems similar to your belief that what I offer of the Christian faith on this forum is in any way presented in the fullness as I see, live, and experience it.  Perhaps, if you ever mature as a Christian and an individual, you will someday recognize just how much harm you have done, simply equating your useless and errant clanging to well-doing.

Gouda,,Of course you do things where everyone is invited can see...Funny thing Gouda that you choose to stand and bark from the roof tops making a spectacle of yourself in everything you do while Scripture teaches something directly contrary to that,, Same old Gouda,,I would imagine that being confronted by someone on a personal level would be very uncomfortable for you indeed,,,You like to bark from a distance so the only voice you hear is your own,,,

 

Well, no one on here is following scripture, certainly not Carlin nor you either Deanna,  so if we really want to do as Christ instructs we should all just shut our pie holes, me included which I am going to do starting now!

Maybe instead of focusing on the things we disagree on, we could try to find something we agree on, and if we are indeed worshipping the same God, that shouldn't be to hard to do, should it.  A house divided against itself will never stand.
