Admin, when one sneezes, there may or may not be "snot" expressed, but there is always saliva from an uncovered mouth which becomes aerosol and is spread through the air......to be in hailed into the nose, mouth and lungs of every one within range. Therefore Ebola virus from an infected person will be spread to nearby persons, that's why a surgical mask is THE first line of defense against Ebola.

It can also be spread through sweat.  No problems riding the subway.  No one sweaty every rubs against you.  No one sweaty has ever shook your hand.  Nope, no problems no worries.  Yep all sheepals.  Sheep will follow someone straight to their death and never make a sound.

You still must come in direct contact with the muccus being expelled and not just breathe the air in a room an hour from now and be infected. See the difference?

Poor people living in places with no running water or electric power grid. Makes hand washing hard. At least before the hospital had walls & a moat filled with bleach people walked through comming in and out. Now they only have a little bucket of bleach to dip your footwear in. It's like the world has gone backwards.

who really are the sheep?  the ones who take precautions, look for worst case scenario and try to protect themselves?  Or the ones who are told everything is fine, don't worry.  You will be okay just do as we tell you.  Don't try to think for yourself.  Don't scrutinize what we say and look for when we contradict ourselves and question us about it.  We will demean those that do and try to make them sound less intelligent.  That way they will be so worried about verbal attacks they will go to their death quietly.  So who really are the sheep led to their own slaughter?

Look how they dress against it.  every inch of their skin is covvered.  yep they are only worried about blood and mucas.  yep no worries.  No need to protect yourself.  it will be ok.  trust us.  Ignore all the people in hazmat suits.  not air borne but they still wear multiple masks.  interesting.

Reggie, they not only wear masks, but they are wearing breathing apparatus WHILE disinfecting contaminated areas....but supposedly its not contracted easily.
If a person is in range of the person who sneezed, they WILL inhale the virus and it only takes one single teeny tiny virus to enter your body and it will multiply and make you very sick and you will vomit, squirt diarrhea and hemorrhage from every orifice until you either receive supportive care until your body can recover, or you will die from dehydration and organ failure...all from a sneeze and only one itsy bitsy virus.

by joanro on 05 October 2014 - 18:10

You don't need to contact Mucous when a person sneezes to get contaminated, all you need to do is breath in the aerosol when they sneeze, like in a space of elevator, airplane, taxi...see the difference?

Joan this is not do as we see them do.  Don't worry about protecting yourself.  Your safe, because they tell you so.

kind of like a big building being on fire and being so worried about people being trampled at the entrance that if we tell them there is a fire we tell them don't worry about the smoke we have it contained.  Just enjoy the music.  Ignore all the firemen, they are just part of the show.  All the people who work here are leaving because they are going on break.  Just stay seated and don't panic.
