GSD Admin is self proclaimed God, he decided what is right and what is wrong, he is the God of his own universe.

This topic seems to have had an agenda from the start. 

It may or may not matter to the fickle public. Great idea politicos have philandered and still suffer no hit to their gravitas. Martin Luther King and JFK both jump to my mind. Heck, the French people haven't the slightest problem with their leaders having mistresses in public. 

Others are destroyed by it, like that sexting guy... Anthony Weiner.

The real tragedy will be the families that will be affected by the results of this betrayal. Everything else won't really matter next week, except that. 

Wow, the ignorance here of applying moral and civic duties is absolutely astounding!  This is jaw-dropping to me, from some that I'd least expect.  Do any of you actually understand any of your "duties"?  This country's laws are not subject to religion, but equality.  What part of equality is so difficult for any of you to understand? 

I don't believe I've ever heard a same-sex couple request "support" for their marriages.  How do you "support" marriage?  How do you not "support" marriage?  Please explain this support concept that I keep hearing, outside of your own marriage, of course.  Anybody?

In the US, human beings are free to be who and what they are, until and unless they deny those same rights to another or "other" human being(s).  So, any of you who "disagree" with same-sex marriage, please explain to me which of your rights are being denied when same-sex couples marry.  Just one right will do and don't even try to say your right to discriminate, because then, you've crossed that "do unto others" line.  So name one right, just one.

Civic duties are defined by moral duties. Otherwise, we have chaos. Moral duties are subject to change with collective opinions. Everyone can agree or disagree on a principle of marriage, what defines one. However, when it comes down to a human-made institution that then conveys "rights" that translate into benefits or penalties, then there is room for discussion. The issue of course you will have, will be with the co-existing idea that marriage is indeed God ordained. We just all have to allow for that co-existance and then we can choose whom to spend time with of those we are so enamored with, doing whatever in the privacy of our own bedrooms.
