I was pretty impressed with the Mayor's actions today in one of the communities where I work. He was out early this morning trying to find out which residents were without heat and he was going to each home and offering for them to stay at his house or he'd put them up in a motel. This guy really cares about the people in his community, I doubt any other Mayors were out doing the same thing toady. He's a good guy, he really is.

When Toronto got hit by the ice storm, its mayor, Rob Ford, couldn't do that, because HIS house was without power, too! Anyway, Toronto's far too big for that to be a workable strategy.

holly molly its cold (7 degrees according to my car) !!!!!! at least its dry here.....
