We should stop giving benefits and pay raises to the Military, then.

After all, they know the job is dangerous and the pay is shitty.
They should quit whining about the hardships and crappy pay.  Buncha babies.

SM--I never personally complained about my salary.  I said that teachers salaries are low, but I did not personally complain.  Don't you know the difference?   I was stating the reasons that our educational system is at risk.  It is a fact that teachers salaries are low.  A complaint is defined as:

com·plaint  (km-plnt)
n.
1. An expression of pain, dissatisfaction, or resentment.
2. A cause or reason for complaining; a grievance.

An example of a complaint is the following:  I become aggravated when someone is self centered.

He has a positive attitude about learning, and he gets it from us.  A child cannot be FORCED to learn- if they don't bring a desire and an interest in learning, well... you can lead a horse to water...

The parents are as much responsible for creating that thirst as the teachers are.

Amen!  Wish all parents thought this way!!!
