How many times do I need to reiterate the fact that, by law, no federal funds are spent on abortion?

Please stop lying.

by Preston on 27 August 2012 - 03:08

grossman, you imply you graduated from quantico.  Were you there for special fbi training for police or security have you been an FBI agent?  If so did you train at Fletc?

by Preston on 27 August 2012 - 03:08

Mindhunt, I do not agree with Romney and Ryans positions, but Ron Paul says abortion is not a federal issue according to the Constitution but a state rights issue and basically the feds have no business being involved.  He says he doesn't like it personally, but believes it is none of his personal business.  he has a history of being a Libertarian which means hands off people's personal health business and leave their decisions to themselves.

Ron Paul delivered my step son......LOL

If the federal government fund (even partially) planned parenthood, then the taxpayers are paying for abortions........ If the federal government refunds doctors (medicare, medicade) that do elective abortions.....than the taxpayers are paying for it.....

Keith, please prove that this in not happining......show me the facts.

BTW - I agree 100% with Ron Paul's beliefs.......it's not a federal issue, its a state issue.

by Preston on 27 August 2012 - 03:08

SitasMom, I don't agree with you on everything but you do know your stuff and you are correct on this abortion issue that's for sure. This has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt that there are federal funds involved at some point in the process for all states.

Margaret Sanger who started planned parenthood is alleged to be a racist who advocated eugenics against African Americans. Is that sick enough?  Nope not conspiracy theory but history. But don't take my word for it do the research.

by Preston on 27 August 2012 - 04:08

Here's an interesting web site.  First you must determine who Margaret Sanger was and what she did.  then learn what she believed in and tried to do for the world.

Sistasmom, where do you get the idea that abortion is used as birth control or a method to chose gender?  According to the CDC, 1 million women in their most recent study had miscarriages or still births vs 825,564 that had an abortion with 62.8% at <= 8 weeks gestation, 91.4% <= 13 weeks gestation.  Increased access to safe effective birth control and morning after pill has been correlated with decreased abortion numbers. The percentage of women choosing abortion as a birth control method is so insignificant that the CDC said is was a non issue, also the percentage of women choosing abortion as a method of gender selection was almost non existent (were you confusing us with China perhaps???).  Ryan co-sponsored a bill that would allow employers the option to deny women contraceptive coverage (while it does cover ED treatments, hmm).  Both want to defund national family planning which not only covers women's reproductive health needs but cancer screenings and wellness checks.  Yes Ryan supports the notion of "forcible rape" where the burden of proof is on the victim to prove force was used (e.g. a weapon) vs what? non-forcible rape???.  The personhood bill would ban some affordable forms of safe and effective birth control limiting the choices and it makes no provision for ectopic pregnancy (since when is the life of the mother who happens to be a person less important than the life of the embryo???  Also, ectopic pregnancies are fatal unless medical intervention is done to remove the embryo implanted outside the uterus, embryo not fetus).  They would cut funding to many of the programs children rely on for nutrition and health care (poor nutrition stunts brain development).  They oppose the fair paycheck act which forces employers to pay men and women the same wage for the same work.  They would allow insurance companies to charge women more for health care and deny coverage of pap smears, mammograms, contraception, and pregnancy wellness checks (or in some cases women can have them, just have to pay out of pocket or higher deductibles).  Funny they want women to stay pregnant but refuse to allow them realistic access to affordable health care during their pregnancy.  Just wondering where you are getting your "facts". :)

Wrong on both counts; no federal money is spent on abortion, period.  Do your own research or choose to remain willfully ignorant and expect that I will continue to expose you as a liar...it doesn't matter to me which.

Aw, crap; sorry, Preston, I forgot how gullible you are.
