So I can see not much is new here at PDB!   Haven't been around much.   Six weeks after major surgery and just started back teaching a new school year.   Don't think I will spend much time here....have too many other things to do.  Just wanted to say hello and wish everyone the best.  

I am glad to hear you are doing well after your surgery. I figured it was your busy BTS time, too. 

I for one, am always glad to see your name, whenever you do decide to stop on by!

Hope it is a great year for you.. Do check out my garden thread in a bit, I have a nice picture of brine scum. Oddly enough, I thought the biology teacher in you might like to see them! Lol!

Thanks bee!  Recovery has been slow.  Almost back to normal.  I received excellent care....know my surgeon personally.  His wife teaches at the same school that I teach at and I have taught all of their children.   He has taken such good care of me...has called me at home and gave me his cell phone number (I haven't used it though).  He performed surgery on me on a Tuesday and during my six day hospital stay, he came in on his day off (Saturday) to check on me.  Could not ask for better care than that, not to mention that he is ranked number one among the surgeons in our area!
