Blitzen and Moons,
Those are exactly the problems that I have been talking about and experiencing.  I am having problems posting from my phone as well.

Exactly Moons and Slam. Why us Teeth Smile?  I don't use a phone to post.

I would probably make sure my browsers, security software, java, flash, phones are all updated with the latest updates. I might also take a look at malwarebytes.org and download and run their software.

I would also highly suggest anyone using Internet Explorer to download and try Firefox or Chrome both of these browsers are better than IE, in our opinions.

My guess is you all use Internet Explorer, just a wild guess on my part.

Blitzed,
I am sure it is not just us, others are having the issue as well.  I don't have issues on other sites, forums or Facebook groups.

Phew! Got rid of the sucker! Malwarebytes is da bomb!  It found and got rid of the files, then I did a system restore to make sure everything was back to normal!

The malware was actually BLOCKING system restore!!  Angry Smile

If you buy the malwarebytes you will get real-time protection from a lot of sites that install these nasty pests. I like zone alarm for security, have had good luck with it for years now. I also recommend superantispyware.

Is Norton OK? I don't have issues on any other sites either, Slam, but I only post to one other on a regular basis and that's my own FB breed board.

Could this be a virus/spyware/whatever since more than one of us has the same problem and only here?

There have been times when I have ONLY had problems on this site.  With the problem I had tonight, I knew it was malware because it was happening on other sites as well, and not just this one.

In the past, I've had problems with posting pictures here, after Oli made changes to the site. Currently I get a popup telling me I need to update my Java software. It used to happen several times a day, now it's down to once a week.

I think some of these compatibility issues are due to Oli being in a different country. For example in the early days of internet videos, I had trouble viewing videos from the U.K. Now that things are more sophisticated, the compatibilty issues have vanished.

Just my 2 cent's worth, anyway!

A new problem - when my messages start to get deleted, I get logged out automatically too. I don't think anything is working right with my advanced form.

Blitzen,
whatever the problem it's not specific to your computer, or mine.
It's not malware either.

It's up to you but I would and did dump Norton.
Microsoft has security and it's free, it's also the best game in town since it is the system your using.
And learn what NOT to click on, that's important.

Personally I'd like to see the white background shaded in some way like the outer border, just something to make it easier on the eyes.

I remember a time when things were much simpler, before using other devices became so popular.
Things aren't so simple anymore.
