When you have learned the art of meditation and you practice it you will find one thing rings true, you cannot lie to yourself any longer.
It is spiritual, but not religious in and of itself.

Hundmutter: Now, that is odd to me. Why would excessive meditation equate to selfishness and an uncaring attitude regarding humanity? Why does that even matter as a reason to meditate? Or pray?

Oh! LoL! I saw the "http" thing and it is showing for me, all in blue, so I clicked on it! It brought me to a blank page! I wondered if there was a sort of hidden meaning to it all!

So, really, Gouda, you mean you think you can remember actual words that you think were from the voice of God? Words you remember hearing while in prayer? Was "watchman" one of them? Now, I do understand if you don't want to share such an experience with us all. But, that is one part I would be curious about though, as you do claim that assignation all the time.

Now, I have never heard a word from God, myself. But I have had prayers answered! And there was a feeling I would describe as a sense of relief, joy and well being when I made that connection.
