No, I have to disagree because Walter Mitty lived a world and life within his own mind. This guy is not that. I think there is something about pathological liars on the OT that relates better, that should tell ya' all, about it!

I've never seen a daytime soap but admit to being hooked on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. I often think of Charlie's Great Dane "implant" - lucky Loretta!!!

Our headmaster has a PhD in psychology so I like to think he hired this new teacher as a case study!

Bee, can you explain the difference ? The Walter Mitty character
told people about his various identities, didn't he ? It wasn't all
played out entirely inside his own head ?

Actually, I think no, Walter Mitty was the original "hero in his own mind". All his great fantasies and heroic deeds were, daydreams. In every day life he was ineffectual, distracted and incompetent. The original title of the short story by James Thurber is, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".
