Thanks guys, I am better now. I went in the bedroom and talked to him about the agreement when he moved in but now I was going to have to make a couple of additions.......so we both talked about what we were pissed about and how were we going to fix it.................Damn folks relationships are such a pain--I didn;t ask for all this in the beginning.................anyway we have made some agreements and we'll see how that works out......and basically if I had anyone I could choose to really be pissed at--it'd more be at myself--I get sort of on kicks ya see and everything goes to hell. Happens every fucking time--you'd think I'd learn. Still there have been other issues--the dogs and my smoking habit, if you will.............today he worked and had money and I asked him to loan me enough to get a cheapie and man he started yelling at me about it was no good and he wasn't going to help me. I told him fuck you and came on home.............and he went on and on about that for a bit.............and yes he smokes sometimes so WTF was all that? Oh and the dogs--he hates them in the bedroom and closes the door at night and not just the dogs but it makes me a little claustrophobic....and personally I prefer the light on. But I really don't like him talking any kind of smack about the dogs--I told him not only was this property bought for this purpose, but realistically I am really seeing the light on my own and now is no time to stop. Plus hey I am not going to lie--utility bills and a little shopping for things I needed regarding the dogs were paid for with dog money and also the car I have was given me by my mentor for raising a puppy and training it for show for her..........sure it's an older car but it runs good and I take care of it..............but the point is the dogs have contributed so much for so long--emotionally and economically and you're not going to tell me what to do with my dogs........................Thanks for letting me vent--sorry about the font change--I don't know but I know you know by now I managed to hook up. LOL LOL  Happy Saturday night you guys.....

I really could not be with anyone who didn't understand about
dogs, and feel the same as me.  Ever.  JMO, FWIW.

Ok, that was depressing! Curse you, Hastings! LoL.. I love how the German immigrant, who ate all those people later opened a restaurant.. Wonder what the house specialty was?? Mystery Meat Mondays...

The died because they had no beaver.........
Actually they died from stupidity.

Yeah I can't believe someone didn't hunt that bastard (Hastings) down and cut his throat.

I know, I was thinking it was strange no one went looking for him..?? Especially back then when vigilantly justice was a more common way of thinking.. They were stupid to believe his BS, even after that mountain man told them there was no way and they needed to stay on the widely used trail.. And why didn't they just winter over at the fort, send a few scouts ahead on horse back to check out the "short cut"?  It sounded like the families were decently well off enough to pay for lodgings for a few months for winter.. But you are right, if they had some beaver, they'd been ok  ;) haha... But if they had made it, we would never have had these interesting historical accounts!! LoL..

There are many accounts of cannibalism but this one made the papers of the day.

I would have wintered over.

I would have gone looking for Hastings.

I haven't read this forum for a while so when I saw the topic - eating deep fried  beaver - I thought the entire thread would end up flushed down the terlet. Kudos to everyone for not taking the low road.  Sometimes you eat the beaver, sometimes the beaver eats you?
