I don't think you can. You need to change a lot of things. Assault weapons are only a small part of it.
You could make the schools into Fort Knox but kids still come and go and have outside time.

I see,
so that's your answer.
You don't think you can, but it's gotta have something to do with a semi automatic rifle and a lot of bullets.
You don't have kids do you.

Wow, since when were teachers "substandard"? I take offense to that. As a teacher, of course I think school safety should be a priority. Sorry, but my school is not "outdated." We had our sheriff's department and SWAT come last week to evaluate safety at our school and they were pretty impressed. They gave us some suggestions which we will be implementing. BTW, having armed teachers/administrators was not one of their suggestions.

lol, I have grandkids, nephews/nieces and cousins. My kid just got a gun stuck in her/his face a couple weeks ago on a robbery, thank god the moron didn't pull the trigger.
No matter what you say I see no need for the average person to own assault rifles/weapons. Sorry, you won't convince me otherwise.

I wouldn't arm teachers either, though some in my state carry concealed.
Yeah substandard as a rule, a few excel but only a few.
Where do we stand compared to other countries, you should know as a teacher I would think.
Maybe your school is nice, look around, it's not the norm.

I certainly see benefits to a personalized firing weapon. The bracelet thing, I undestand makes sense in a prototype kind of way, but really it would be better to have the people microchipped for their weapons. Any one can steal a bracelet.

Yes !!!
Bee has the answer, we all go out and have a microchip implanted in us !!!!!!
I rest my case.

Finally. I knew you'd see it my way. I rest my case! We get to chip all gun and ammo buyers and sellers! Problem solved! Makes all those checks buying ammo and everything easy, we could just point the bar code wand at your forehead, and heck, you'd be all good to go!

Bee, and you say you believe in God. Do you ever read what your God has to say?!
Bloody great, micro chip all of us, not to worry, it is in the making!
Coming soon to a home near you.
