I now understand why the obamites always go after what Romney is doing rather than giving supporting facts for what Obama can do. I went reading on Obama website today and all he can do is attack. All he can do is give vague ideas of vaguer promises. Sounds like his first year in running when one day I heard him swear to the NASA that he supported them fully then next day in front of a different crowd he said he was going to killl all space operations. In this exert, he is talking to Floridians. Really? seriously? I have been reading Obama website figuring you cant get more truth towards him that to see what he himself is approving to be posted and I am still not impressed.
President Obama was out on the campaign trail in Florida today, stopping by Jacksonville to remind the crowd what he stands for and why this election is so important for all of us. Here’s a highlight:
I am running because, like you, I believe you cannot reduce the deficit and deal with our debt without asking folks like me, without asking the wealthiest Americans, to give up the tax cuts they've been getting for the last decade.
Now, my opponent doesn’t just want to keep these tax cuts, he wants to cut those taxes by another $5 trillion, including a 25 percent tax cut for every millionaire in the country.
Now, hold on, it gets better. To pay for this, he plans to gut things like job training and financial aid for college, and potentially raise taxes on the middle class—on you.
He plans to roll back health care reform, forcing more than 200,000 Floridians to pay more for their prescription drugs. He plans to turn Medicare into a voucher program.
So if that voucher isn't worth enough to buy the health insurance that’s on the market, you're out of luck. You're on your own. One independent nonpartisan study found that seniors would have to pay nearly $6,400 more for Medicare than they do today.
Now, Florida, that’s the wrong way to go. It's wrong to ask seniors to pay more for Medicare just so millionaires and billionaires can pay less in taxes. That’s not the way to reduce the deficit. We shouldn’t be squeezing more money out of seniors who are just barely getting by right now.
My plan is to squeeze more money out of the health care system by eliminating waste, and going after abuse and fraud in Medicare. We can cut back government spending that we can't afford, but I will also ask anybody who is making over $250,000 a year to just go back to the rates they were paying under Bill Clinton—because, by the way, that worked. Nearly 23 million new jobs were created, the largest budget surplus in our history. And when we were doing it that way, where the burden was shared, actually, millionaires did really well.
That’s the choice we have in this election. That’s why I'm running for a second term as President.
To find out what else the President told Jacksonville about why he’s in this race again, check out the full remark

ps it was thanks to Obama that my college child is back home unable to get goverment loans. He fails to mention in the part talking about college that he has already cut off any and all funding to anyone that has married parents and does not have parents hooked on drugs. Students parents at son's school were actually getting legal divorces just to get student loans for their kids. I am not willing to dissolve on paper my marriage of 22 years so my son can get goverment funding. He has already killed school loans yet he says that is what Romney plans to do? There is no current financial aid to be taken away lmao!!!!

Where are all the jobs Bush promised when he lowered taxes on the millionaires? Who put us in this hole? Who ran record deficits? Who is conspiring to keep the economy down so Obama loses?
Why is Romney care different than Obama care?
Why don't you wake up smell the coffee and see the big picture. It was a Republican who ran this country into the ground. It was another Republican who had the previous downturn on his shoulders. Remember daddy Bush? Romney will do no better and probably much worse. He will Bainitize everything and in the long run the middle class will finally 100% be destroyed.
Wake up.

I have not said I support Romney anywhere :) I said all Obama can do it talk against him. I do not support Obama and the time in office has not impressed me. I just know I do not want him anymore. I am not a Romney supporter. Why dont people look at the condition, which I believe to be worse now that our country is in, under what he has done in service to us and say "anybody might be able to do better?" Things have been worse for me, a middle class citizen under Obama than they have ever been before. I also look at the promises he made when running before versus what he actually has done and found many of them to be lies. I do not care who gets into office as long as it is bye bye Obama.

Only because our pal Bush ran the country into a depression but hey blame it on Obama. What I don't think you understand is the conspiracy among conservatives to keep the economy down to keep Obama from winning re-election. Believe what you want, nothing I say is going to change anyones beliefs.

conspiracy theory? really? They are conspiring to keep the man himself down now?

The Romney camp is doing a pretty good job of trashing Obama with half truths too. What did Obama do that prevents students from getting loans? That's news to me.
Not to worry, Obama's SS card belongs to a dead man, so he's not eligible to run anyway since he's dead. That's going to be a better argument against his eligiblity than he was born in Kenya. Michelle Bachman is already writing her next speech about that.

BUT, GSD, Bush was not a Muslim and he born in the US, so he gets a pass for sending the country into a tail spin.

Blitzen,
Well of course.
Also read earlier something about stereotyping, really? Is this why women who want birth control are all sluts and whores? Ask Rush and his cronies.

Yes that's right and Romney is running around beating his chest saying - I'll get rid of Planned Parenthood which would take away family planning advice, mammograms, and PAP tests from many low income women who are mostly minorities. I'd think those who would like to see "those" people gone forever would be in favor of doing all they could to prevent them from producing anymore kids. Ironically they seek to deprive them of those tools.
I am waiting to see those tax returns..........
