Among much controversy I might add.
If this is where you people learn I understand the problem.
I can't except this concept as I'm sure most people do not.
Anyway thanks for the link, I'm sticking to my own interpretations.
Moons.

I'd love to see one but Mom said they taste like old sneekers.
Still a romp in the great out doors would be fun.

Moons..
Sorry you felt that way ...Actually, Dr. RC Sproul is not just another guy, but a very well respected professor and theologian..Yes, your right about the controversy, controversy is not necessarily a bad thing Moons...;)
Moons, said, "If this is where you people learn I understand the problem."...
"You people"..That was rude..You asked a question and I gave you a place to find the answer..Next time don't ask questions that your not interested in getting answers to..
Moons said, "I can't except this concept as I'm sure most people do not."
I agree, most people would not accept this view, doesn't make it wrong..Actually in most things, I don't see much benefit in following the majority..
Bee, I would like to hear about your kitten story..:)

I don't buy it.
This isn't the god you claim to know.
This predestination.
Every two bit evangelist has an answer to what the word means.
Sorry but that is not the purpose of the bible or how it works.

What do you mean this isn't the God I claim to know??...
There is a big difference between an evangelist and a theologian..
What do you mean by your last statement???

by Two Moons on 16 December 2011 - 06:12
You read the bible, and you either get it or you do not.
The word was meant for you and you alone.
Those who feel the need to explain it to others are the ones who twist the word.
This is one but not the only reason I do not believe in your God today.
Every faith has it's demons and they all walk the earth upright in plain sight.
You have your faith and keep it, but do not explain it to others.
Speak the word only and make no changes or opinions as to what they mean to you, because what they mean to you is for you only and not another, he may find a different meaning and that's the way it is supposed to be.

As with all things, you must study in order to learn and become knowledgeable about a subject..Religion is no different...
People who explain Bible doctrine to others are called teachers..And Bible professors are no different then professors of other types of study,,,
I am Ok that you don't believe in my God and it does not offend me..Not sure what demons your referring to Moons it sounds spooky..lol..
I will explain my faith to others if they ask..and the Bible is absolutely not to be interpreted any old way..
You don't have to believe in God, faith, or religion, but there are basic fundamentals that exists whether you believe them or not ......
