Moons,

Yeah, according to the PMs I received from Jim at the time I was being accused of impersonating Jim, everyone should know his name because he has posted it here in the past several times. So, not outing him as according to Jim in PMs he sent me everyone should know his name. Besides these are in the public domain and are easy to find.

This is just my opinion, for what it is worth, nothing I  imagine but it's mine regardless.

I am definitely against crooked cops, Gov't, crooked anything, but of all the people on the board I'd trust, Jim would be the first.

It seems to me  the police did jump the gun and get a search warrant on a home without enough information.    That being said, what burglar comes knocking on your front door?  at 8:30 pm no less?
At least they knocked.  My poor dad who has never cursed, drank, or smoked ANYTHING in his life had someone plant pot by his creek, and the police just stormed in one afternoon, no knocking, no warning, nothing.

The defendant went way over board firing on someone before knowing who it was.  It could have been a number of innocent people.  I'm not sure I believe his story anyway.  He had time to get a gun, so he must have had time to hear what they were yelling.

Redsable,
we were not there, that's important to remember.

This type of thing however happens far too often.

Furthermore,
do you think that a pot plant is worth all this?

Moons.

I can't say as I'm a fan of pot but no, definitely not, however, unlike the other scenario the cops weren't out to blow him away, he killed one of them without cause IMO.

Some one smashing my door and stepping through a broken panel, without knowing who they are would be probable cause to shoot and ask later. I don't think military-like assault is needed to look for pot plants that evidently didn't even exist.

"...I'm a fan of pot..."

LMAO...Freudian slip...

"I don't think military-like assault is needed to look for pot plants that evidently didn't even exist."

Especially when those plants were supposed to be in a detached garage.

Bingo! Me too.

LOL, no, just bad grammar.  I always word it like that, however, what I should have said is,  "I can't say I'm a fan of pot" and skipped the "as".
