btw  I find it fascinating that Shtal uses a word / concept brought into the English language by

Karl Marx, who was translating from the German, to illustrate some point he was making

about alienation in society.  This slightly obscure idea of "reification" seems to have taken on

a reuvenated life with the Young Earth brigade.
