never watched any star wars after the first one i saw when it originally came out. thought it was a neat flick - what happened in the other shows in the series? did they catch/kill darth vader? did luke nail the princess?

Ahh well see Luke and Princess Lea turned out to be twin sibblings 
Darth Vader (Anakin) father of both Luke and Lea, who as littermates both had names begining with L.
Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) and the princess hook up.
I liked 1(IV) and then the prequels 7 (I), 8 (II) and (III)
