Sorry, I was thinking about the pronouncement, "Let there be light." That it was good and He needed a rest, I have no idea where to pinpoint that one. I don't think that matters to me as it does to some. Waste of debate breath, really, to keep at the one(s) who believe otherwise. You can't prove to him to abandon his literal Bible model, yet you can't support your own, with your own model.

Carry on with that circular thing you can not escape from.

Beetree, the life is so simple like Admin said if vk4 don't like how I post things then he should not call me out, if he likes Christianity? And start threads with intentions to bring my attention to his thread then how would you expect me to react?

first of all we have to realize, just using proving physical laws, chemistry and physics – using what science has proven to such an extend that is actually merited the position of a law, something that when ever tested, no matter how often - no matter by whom? We always get the same result. When we are using pristine pure science like the laws of thermodynamics which Einstein said never being overthrown by the advanced of science, you would think you would be open and shut case

Shtal, that was sort of my point. Many, many creationists point to the second law of thermal dynamics to support creationism, when in fact, further examination reveals why that is flawed thinking. I can tell you for a fact that the vast majority of evangelicals have zero command of some of the scientific theories that their weekend-warrior band leaders such as the Hams and Hovinds would take license with in support of their theology. The result is that a huge portion of these Christians walk around spouting these unfounded asertions as fact, doing an injustice not only by bastardizing the science, but by making a mockery of their respective denominations. The findings here do not support one camp any more than they do the other. What's most relevant IMO, is that we do not so casually throw about information and data as propaganda, to either end, particularly in the absence of the unbiased philosophy needed to interpret exactly what is, and is not defined by the results.

Bee the most accurate bit in your post was when you said you "have no idea".

Carlin seems you are convinced that all forms of knowledge is fruitless and goes nowhere. pretty glum outlook, makes you wonder why people even bother yo get out of bed.

shtal the thermodynamics. of a turd in the garden of eden, you were about to say something, entropy, the fall?,

It takes all types. Some people are the dreamers and the pioneers such as my wife and my son, while others keep them grounded more in keeping with myself and one of my daughters. It takes all of us. I will say that I believe that there's a reason the scientists do not generally "run the show". It may go something like this:

by vk4gsd on 26 March 2014 - 18:03

Not sure if i have seen a branch of science inquiring a about running the show. does not seem like a scientific question at all. perhaps science might ask of the insane need to need and follow a sumpreme being that when there is no evidence for it might be a scientific question .

That sounds like a question for the psychologist, who would first look to the healthy in order to establish deviation for the "insane".  Presupposing "need" would not follow.

Shtal,

As a matter of a pragmatic approach, if I were you, I would not respond to each and every one of vk4's purposefully crafted bits to get under your skin. The trick to it all is to realize he doesn't really believe what he writes, either. Once you master that idea, it makes it pretty easy to contain the mutually fun sport of stick poking in one small area of the board. When you want to see if your stick is still sharp, give 'em a poke! If you believe it is sharp enough, put it away and save it for that perfect moment. It will come. It always does.

What, you saying i don't believe in entropy starting as punishment for eves sin and talking snakes that walk upright and creating a universe by saying some words and drowning the whole earth cos 1 guy is pissed and 3 headed gods etc etc......well i do believe i agree.

bee you might wish you had a stick to poke but you don't, you have period pain instead cos eve sinnef and caused us all to die.

LOL, now I know I am winning!
