yeah i remember my first "custom" build PC, i was able to convert vhs...good old days..cost me arm and a leg....lol
now, i dont even bother to keep up...let the teens worry about latest upgrades... i want my lap tops light so when it gets on my nerves it flies far and straight...LOL

That was what came to mind when you described your laptop.
Back then it was about speed and memory, and some towers were as big as a water heater.
Obsolete now.
