What model of Toyota was it? I am on my 3rd Toyota, and remain very impressed with their vehicles. They also rate very high for safety in crashes.
So glad she's okay!

Yellow Rose: It actually happened a few months ago. I was looking for a picture last night and bumped into those, which I had forgot about so I posted them. Two GOOD cooks in the same kitchen??? The other J.
Hexe: I believe she hit the back of a road grader. So I would say it was her fault. I haven't seen her since the accident, so I haven't talked to her personally. There is a family gathering today so if she is there, her and I are going to have a little talk. LOL
As far as her presence at the Boston Marathon, she is a manager for a Hotel right there at Copley Square and they were involved supplying the Marathon. So she was walking back and forth during the whole event.
BEE: LMAO
Sunsilver: It's a Toyota Corolla (I think a 2005) GD must have seen the emblem on the steering wheel. You can also see in the last picture that it had side air bags that also depleted.
My brother actually asked me if I could fix the car.

I had 2 Toyota Corollas in a row when I was doing visiting nursing. I was on the road all day long, in all sorts of weather. They were very comfortable to sit in, and very reliable. I once drove one through 10 inches of unplowed snow to get to a client's home!
My current vehicle is a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I had to buy it when my dog population expanded to 3. It is approaching 200,000 Km. and has very rarely seen the inside of a repair shop. I had the rear wheel bearings replaced this year, and that was the first really major expense, other than routine maintenance (oil changes, the occasional brake job, etc.)
Um...not counting TWO broken front windshields, and one broke rear windshield. The latter was MY fault when I backed into a sign sticking out from a tree!

I once saw a 1960 Corvette cut in half length ways by a 58 Dodge DeSoto.
I think it would do the same thing to a Toyota, steel verses plastic.
New cars bounce really well.

beetree, if you're going to process pumpkin, be careful with it. It grows botulism easily and you have to make sure everything is sterile if you're going to use it beyond the first day. Make sure you read up before proceeding. I love pies from fresh pumpkin, but I always freeze what's left. It'll freeze well for about two weeks in an air tight container.
You probably already know this, but it doesn't hurt to say it anyway.

Travels....I think I will try some pumpkin processing tomorrow. I really am not an experienced, canner. Botulism scares me, lol! I will freeze what is left in ice cube trays or Ziplocks, and then I can also use them to feed my raw feeder, is what I am thinking... too. I just hope I have the sugar pumpkins growing... for a pie or two...! It has been a while since I've made a pumpkin pie... I usually make a pumpkin cheesecake and I used the can!
Those breads sure look good! See how much I end up with!
