"Complete information lockdown"???????????????? It's called a murder investigation! A very high profile one at that! The police don't just start throwing out everything they find and say "Hey, this is weird? What you all think? Weird eh?"

I honestly don't know. I do know, this is playing right into the hands of those that want to take away our rights to protect ourselves. Surely they can't be so evil though to use little children, that is too hard to believe.
As far as Obama's speech and tears(?), it looked very fake to me, I thought that at the time I watched it.

I have waited to post about this tragedy. First let me say I am a major supporter of the 2nd Amendment. My husband and I own guns, several are collectable guns that have never been fired and never will be. Some are for hunting and some are for defense.
On the other hand I have also lost 2 children to violence, they were murdered on July 7, 1977. They did not die because of a gun but rather fire, perhaps we should ban matches as well. I have 2 cousins who died as a result of auto accidents, maybe we should ban cars.
My heart goes out to the familes and friends affected by this needless tragedy, I know the pain they are dealing with and I know it will never go away. Unfortunately banning guns will not stop needless deaths such as these. Perhaps we should look at the need for better mental health care to help those who need it instead of ignoring them.

Wildbill, you are remarkably ignorant about how the real world works. No need to name call, why not just disagree respectfully. Before you jump to conclusions you should read and study or consult with retired special ops or intel folks who know about these things. It's obvious you don't and have closed your mind. Maybe a good place to start would be to read The Last Circle: It is a free book available on the Interbnet as well as for sale from Trineday publishers.
