Very simple indeed. So simple, so very simple.

I know we are not talking of Bee's thread.................................... My thoughts are if no one has commented on on an OP's thread for X amount of posts. EXCEPT the OP themselves (keeps posting for countless posts/entries) then honestly what is the sense? Now if an individual is trying to validate themselves? That doesn't compute.

I reckon some people have nothing else to do.

Gee, if folks don't like someone's posts under a topic line, the simple solution
is just don't read them.  We still have a first Amendment in place and everyone
is entitled to their opinions.  If folks think someone is monopolizing a topic line,
they can just stop reading or put their two cents in. Maybe an unconscious need to bully those that think differently or know more about a subject?

When folks frequently attack the messenger and refuse to deal with the messagee they should expect suporting posts to be made in response. In the past there were bullies loose on this forum and many personal attacks on and off of the forum. Laws were broken, death threats were made and folks were stalked on and off of this forum. Now with the cyber stalking laws in place and some no-nonsense moderators that run a tight ship, abuses have pretty much stopped.

If someone doesn't like a poster or his posts, don't read them, rather than trying
get them blocked, banned or censored. Folks with authority complexes tend to
want to do this.  The simple solution, don't read em if you don't like em.

And if folks shoot from the hip posting authoritatively about something they know litle about, they shouldn't be surprised or offended if alternative informed views based on actual research, publication and documents are presented.

No need to get bent out of shape when someone makes posts you don't like, just don't read them or any other ones. That's what most folks do here, just select the subject lines and posters they like reading.  Anything else smacks of a need to be a petty controller, not necessary when folkd express a different opinion.

Cheers

Ninja, you have a wicked sense of humuor.  I cracked up when I saw your caption.

As a matter of fact, I feel guilty as I have been an active participant in the "word association" threads.  I am a singular kinda person with not much to write but hopefully in person, I am different, probably too much to say :)

Have a nice day Beetree.
