Sitasmom says: "I have many officer friends, including one who's duty is to attend the funerals.........

She's the one that called me pissing and moaning about another drunk, another illegal, another officer that didn't need to die.......She and I get together often and I let her vent and then we train and play with our dogs.....
"

Good try but..................................

How many times have you started a thread lamenting about a police officer killed by a drunk who was not an illegal Latino? Or does your friend only call you "pissing and moaning" about Latino drunks who are illegal involved in the death of "another officer that didn't need to die?

Is it less of a tragedy when an officer dies owing to the actions of a legal drunk as opposed to one who dies at the hands of an illegal drunk?

I have one for you,Sitasmom. What did you have to say, if anything, about the assassination of the Lakewood Four? Just curious. Maybe Fox Noise didn't note that one?

Living in an area where we have had 4 police officers shot to death in the line of duty since January 1, 2011, (6 if you include other areas of Florida), any police officer dying in the line of duty is tragic whether it is due to an illegal or a citizen, drunk driving or other means.  First responders (police, fire, ems)  are underpaid for putting their lives on the line daily (78 police officers and 37 firefighters died in the line of duty since Jan 1, 2011) and be reducing it to something as silly as perpetrated by illegals or citizens is doing a disservice to first responders.

Lakewood Four?

I've been traveling - who are these? Are they from Houston?

Do you think you're funny?  We get it Sitasmom, and we can see through your silly attempt at redirecting, the sad truth is you don't care about anything save for the fact that an ilegal latino was involved.

So very odd that you are ignorant about the Lakewood Four: Four officers who were shot down in a coffee shop in Lakewood,Washington by Maurice Clemmons. Clemmons was the subject of a massive manhunt. His family and friends assisted him (8 have been tried and convicted). Clemmons was encountered by a Seattle cop and shot to death days later (awakening me btw). The incident, the manhunt and the memorial service received massive national coverage. . . even in Texas.

But, then, no immigration issues were involved. So, it didn't make your radar?

No wonder I didn't hear about it this weekend.......The Lakewood Four......... from Nov. 2009........ an Islimac Terror attack

What I do remember is that Huckabee let this killer out of jail because he "found religion"........ that made more news then the actual shooting and manhunt here in Houston...... sorry, but the press is really messed up!

"Maurice Clemmons, the alleged shooter in the Sunday murder of four Lakewood, Washington police officers, was killed early yesterday morning by a Seattle police officer.

The blogsite Fire Andrea Mitchell reported that a radical black Muslim group called National Black Foot Soldiers held a protest today outside the Parkland, Washington coffee shop where the murders occurred. The protesters allegedly gathered to celebrate Clemmons as a "Crowned BOW (Black on White) Martyr," calling his attack a "preemptive strike on terrorists..."

The substance of this story was originally announced by a blog called the Last Crusade, which has also claimed that Clemmons converted to Islam while imprisoned in Arkansas. "
