Grossman, I didn't say the figures on PDDs were accurate or that I believed them, nor have I checked the claims out.  I suggested folks do their own research and decide which you would know if you had read my opost more carefully instead of just reacting. It was actually sent to me a Repub activist whom I often disagree with.  At one time I did research for the NIH so I know how to do it better than most. One of my degrees is an advanced research degree, is yours?

Thank you for the nice comments Preston. You are far too kind. I am going to say one more Indian thing and then I will get off that. We fight amongst ourselves but let an outsider come in and it's a whole different story--sort of like a family. We are not racist, we are very mistrustful of outsiders and their intentions. It has been proven over and over that we must remain that way and keep our language and traditions alive. You guys can read any books you want to about what happened, etc etc but you may never get the true story. I have an advantage, even tho I am a mixed blood and I don't particularly look Indian as compared to some, I am known in several different tribes and especially right here in my community because of who my family was.
And Kim you say you wouldn't care what color a persons skin was, but yet you put Homeboy Preacher's video up, who spouted nothing but untruths and racism, and had the nerve to say what you did about finally somebody saying just what you felt. I believe that is a contradiction in itself. So are you racist or a lier or both? I know you probably could care less but any credibility you had with me is now lost. I'm very poor, I am a person of color, I don't have fancy dogs to breed or broker, but I sleep well at night and I know I am neither a lier or a racist , I am intelligent and I have many FRIENDS and acquaintences that I can talk to and trust what is said between us stays that way.
Now that I have had my little say, you guys carry on. It doesn't matter who says what or has the latest trash to sling at the other one, I believe in this country, my freedom and my rights as an individual to think and do for myself. I try to be a good respectful person and do the right thing every day of my life. That makes me very proud that it shows through to others. And yes I am proud of who I am and the strong blood that flows through my veins. My birth mother has no idea the favor she did me by leaving me as she did.
I think the strongest word in the world is acceptance. Once you accept that things are as they are and you cannot change them but only yourself then you can do ANYTHING.
