Bee, carlin is the one who said I soaked up the media bs like a whale sucking up plankton, because he didn't like my post or whatever. I have not insulted you, it's the other way around, so get out there water those thirsty beans. Haha. We get rain here to water our gardens, guess were lucky. Probably cause I didn't watch the trial. LOL

Maybe, the one's who want this thread flushed should start a thread with something they want to talk about instead of killing a thread for the one's who are interested? Really-- that's how I am taking it.
Oh and Joan, what is really growing like crazy is the volunteer pumpkin. At least, it is acting like a pumpkin to me, no fruit set yet. The leaves are the size of a baby elephant's. though.
At least in CT, we have enough water, to water at will. I love that about CT.

It's rained here every day for the last 6 weeks. I haven't had to water my flowers since May and I think it's cooler here than in most of the country.

It's steamy here, but after five straight weeks of almost constant rain, it's just been doing late afternoon TS. Two days ago, lightening hit the sat dish and we lost tv. (glad the trial was already over, ha) just had the receiver replaced today. Another bad TS yesterday camped over us for a solid hour. I don't like TS. Reminds me too much of hurricanes when I lived in Fl.

Every Friday at quitting time one of the guys I used to work with would play over the PA system a recording of a toilet flush. I came to really like it and I wanted to share that joy with my PDB pals. Something our resident voice of gloom and doom and all things negative, Moons, said reminded me of that so I set out to find it on youtube. Enjoy y'all.

Well then, I get it. Up here, we would wait for the "Wigmaster to wigout" every Friday in the afternoon. His comments about the "Lizard bosses" always set the mood for escape and celebration.
I love TS, too. So long as I'm not the target of a direct hit. You have never been in a hurricane? Never? I love all storms.... so long as I don't lose power...LOL
Added ... oh and I didn't exactly blame you Joan... it was more like who should get the credit on the lines of ... Leif Erikson 'cuz he was first, or Columbus because he spread the news...?
