These are very cute. What would you need to sell them for to get your money and time back out of them?

by GSDtravels on 21 December 2014 - 22:12
Well, that's hard to figure. I takes me between 4 and 5 hours to make one, including the figurine. The materials are minimal cost, eggs, clay, glitter and glue. There's probably about 2 bucks worth of clay and that's the biggest expense. My time is what I really spend. Isn't that little Boston adorable? I was real proud of myself on that one and my sister''s gonna go berserk, in a good way :)

Well vk, my daughter worked for a bakery in the wedding department and she said if I made those figurines from edible fondant, they'd be worth up to $100.00 each!! So you may be on to something!

Thanks joanro, there's a lot of talent in my genes, I have an aunt who was a professional artist and a great-aunt (now deceased) who made a second income with her talents :)
