GSDtravels, I get that. I've been told the sea stuff needs to be really fresh, or live because it can make you really sick if it is not.
I really like this. Seaweed Harvesting
I'd like to go for a walk and seawead tasting. Then dry some for a tasty snack later.
I can't handle too much sugar/flour stuff.

Take a walk with Dr Sommers on the beach and learn about harvesting sea vegetables and how to store them! Also lean how to tell edible from non edible seaweed!

Travels, we need to kill if we want to survive. I like eating stuff that wasn´t raised in a man made jail - fishing and hunting is fine for me.

Susie, I grew up in a hunting/fishing family. I learned how to shoot when I was about 5 or 6 years old and I was a better shot than my brother, who was two years older. But I could not point a gun at a living creature and pull the trigger. That's not to say that I am opposed to it, I'm a meat eater and I'm not a hypocrite. My brother hunts small game, deer, doe with both gun and bow. I have fond memories of anatomy lessons when I'd sit on the basement stairs and talk to Dad while he skinned his catch. I understand that we need to eat, but I do "believe" that we have innate qualities that can be and are used to do the things we do best. I don't like blood, I never did, but my own blood bothers me less than seeing someone else bleed. Ask my grandchildren the one rule at Grammy's and they will instantly tell you "We're not allowed to bleed!".
I got into fights with friends when I was a child because they would rip the light off of the fireflies and stick it on their finger. I was never able to figure out why, when not only was it much prettier when it was alive, but why would you want to harm something that does nothing but bring you joy? It was so unnecessary and cruel, not to mention irrational.
I will bait and empty mouse traps, but I think the glue traps should be outlawed. I've never seen such a cruel way to kill anything, and mice are smart and sensitive to pain. I've seen some that have died in those things and chew their own legs off just to get free. That make me shudder with disgust.
So, to sum up my position, I will pull my weight by cleaning preparing seasoning and cooking anything you'd like to kill, and those, I'm good at. And I am opposed to any unnecessary killing or harming, it never made any sense to me and I kind of like it that way. I'll stick with what I do best.

"And I am opposed to any unnecessary killing or harming, it never made any sense to me and I kind of like it that way."
That´s a perfect statement. Every human should behave like this ( I know, I´m dreaming )
