GSD Admin (admin)

by GSD Admin on 25 August 2014 - 16:08

Who needs help? I never ever said it was about me but you kind of did, now didn't you? Then you throw in a needless cut down, now didn't you. The type a real Christian would put out there because they are so much better than anyone else. Here let me give it back to you - you are the one who needs help coming to a site and slamming the manager of that site when all I did was state the way I am, sad, sick and shows your true spirit.

I am sorry I can't say the way I feel and the way I am without you thinking I am rebutting what you said. Get help.

VK, every radical ( in your case "professed lovers of humanity" ) human ( be it religion, politics, working life, ...) has to lie to him/herself, otherwise his/her very personal kind of "reality" would burst - logic doesn´t work...In real life there is no black and white only, there are a lot of gray colors, too.

Besides that, why are you that intensively interested in all of these themes over here? "Normally" you seem to be a realitic thinking person...
Any problems during your childhood ?!? Wink Smile
There are millions of people who believe in some kind of god, if this is helpful for them, then why not? As long as they don´t try to start a new crusade, at least I´m fine with it. The Ten Commandments do make a lot of sense in a community, no matter if you believe in god or not.

GSD..at no point were u addressed, what you referring to (happened months ago) and went like this: I stated u need a vacation/time off and i was banned....

So what exactly are you throwing back at me? Show and tell of a power trip?...please feel free to clarify, but don't be surprised if i don't answer....some discussions are beneath me ....* kiss, kiss, hug, hug*   LOL

Lady - and I use that term very very loosely. My point is you have no clue whether a person would be much more likely to say something to your face or write it here. Myself I am much more likely to be much more blunt to your face.

Power trip?? I was addressing what you said and telling you the way I am if you see it as a power trip - so be it.

Oh, I think on your banning that you said more than what you are claiming but I will let the admin who banned you speak to it as I do not have the time or the care to spend searching the admin forum for what you said, exactly.

Hugs and kisses - lol, okay, not.

What think is more interesting about what LadyFrost posted is that she says

she would "politely educate" us by seeing us spend the next fortnight in hospital.

Just because we bluntly put some arguments against organised religion ?  Or

say it does not make rational sense ?

For me, that kind of sums up what we non-christian posters are suggesting:

about people telling us how much they believe in god, and we should do too, (else we'll

go to hell / suffer a bad end/ be cut down as 'tares',etc.),  and its a wonderful, caring

faith ...  yada yada yada.  Like vk says, look where all the 'haters' are really coming from.

Does it matter for you? These people "believe", none of them (talking about the people on this board) are mean, they really want to "help" us, they don´t want to harm.
You can´t argue with someone who believes...

Susie, people are welcome to believe in whatever faith (or fairies) they choose.

I agree that they are unarguable with.

What is difficult to take, however, is the use of their beliefs and whatever book they

work from to condemn other people.   Firing off ignorant insults about atheists and

gay people being a prominent factor, are but  two examples.  If they object to the 'style'

in which vk4 addresses them and these issues, that is something which could be

directly addressed,  it supplies no call for the believers to either compete in who can use

the worst comments about atheists,  or make all-encompasing remarks like what LF

says above ^^^^     (I'm just waiting for her to come back and say she doesn't mean me,

either;  I'm just choosing to take her description [ of 'they', & 'none of them  ... except maybe vk' ]

upon myself ...) .  Or to threaten bodily violence Omg SmileTeeth Smile.

Does she believe that, where I can have a conversation without language problems, I don't

also explain to moslems why I can't agree with them about much of their faith ?  Or with e,g,

wiccans, for that matter ?  Most of those discussions are face to face.  Many of my discussions

with christians are too - where they are in England;  bit difficult to speak face-to-faith across

the Pond.

For all the Christians there is the sentence: "Love thy neighbour as thyself."
Similar statements in almost every religion...
The contents of the Commandments are great, they cover almost everything, in case people decide to live according to these rules ( even the moslem rules are against violence ) no war, no murder, no conflicts on earth.

All of these commandments were made for society, and they are still current, no matter if you are Christian, Muslim, Jew, or Atheist.

"Besides that, why are you that intensively interested in all of these themes over here? "Normally" you seem to be a realitic thinking person..."

good question, due to the fact i am a realistic person as you say IS the reason i am interested in the unrealistic folks over here. i never joined a dog board to talk religion, i merely responded to the resident preachers and posed questions of my own, that is a problem for the "believers" evidently. i admit i have found a new interest in the sociopolitical aspects of the fundamentalists ideas folks here have showed me, i think every person of good conscience should show the contradictions, irrational thought processes, hate and intrusion into other peoples lives that fundamentalists would try force on everyone.

"There are millions of people who believe in some kind of god, if this is helpful for them, then why not?  As long as they don´t try to start a new crusade, at least I´m fine with it."

BOOM - you have just explained me, i agree wholeheartedly. problem is they have already picked the red heifer and are busily preparing for armegedeon to occurr in this generation, no joke. read some of the threads here.
