Hello every one.

 

Im feeling a lot better right now,and thank all the

posters here for their concern,ESPECIALLY THE NON CHRISTIANS.

I dont really want to tell you's what is wrong with me at this moment,because it might bite

me in the rump down the road. Im no different then anyone else here.

We all have feelings,{Christians and non Christians]

 and all have limits to what our bodies and minds can take.

Some times I get to mouthy and try to do things God has not asked me to do.

I need to get into the word,and do what God wants me to do,and not do what I want to do.

Some times what I want is not what God wants.

The last few weeks I felt alone ,and that God had completely left me.

I  certainly must treat the non Christiand better here,and have mor respect for them.

It certainly warmed my heart from the the non christians concern for me.

Im going to tell you some thing that I wanted to keep a secret,but God

told me to spill the beans.  I got into some alcohol the last couple of weeks,the first time since Dec. 1973,and what a wild ride it was.

Was it because I felt God completely left me? probably.

I;m also facing what hat troubled me forabout 60 years.

 

Keep praying for me gang.

Gouda, you don't know how releived I am to hear from you, I was really worried.

Don't beat yourself up too bad, we need release in one form or another.  Did you know that altering the mind is part of human nature?  Did you know it's also common in the rest of the animal kingdom?  Did you know that birds get drunk on fermented fruit?  Drunk birds, LOL, I've seen some!  It's not evil, it's normal.  I know some can take it to extremes, but that's not quite the same thing. You can let loose once a week or once a month, year, decade, whatever works for you.  If you've had a problem with alcohol in the past, I'm sorry you slipped because I have friends who have been sober and some that have slipped.  Slipping throws them into a depression.  If that's the case, just remember to not let "sober" become an addiction either, sometimes things just get to be too much and you need to leave your thoughts behind for a while.  As long as you can get back where you need to be, let it go, don't dwell on it and don't apologize.  I appreciate passion and you've got some Gouda.  I, personally, think it could be put to better use, but it's not my call.  I'm glad you have something to hang onto, but you wouldn't be evil without it, you'd just be you :)

Gouda i will know yr OK when we get into a ding dong debate and will look forward to it. anyhoo glad yr feeling better, i am sure there is some scripture about the partaking of the wine as a good thing...in moderation. we aall got our demons to deal with i just don't beleive said demons have a supernatural cause, but thts just me.
