I've spent over 4 1/2 hrs on the phone with Quickbooks support today.

I'm ready to KILL someone!

OMG!

I just went upstairs and this freakin' bird was flying around in my bedroom! I can't imagine how it got in there? Except I had cracked the window a few inches in the bathroom while I showered to let the steam out! It is flapping around like crazy and I try to open the top part of a different window for it to fly out. Except it goes into this cubby nook area where my cat is sleeping! And I turn around just in time to see the ol' scruffy black cat swiping away at the frantic sparrow.

No! NO! I scream as I grab the cat and throw him up into the attic room and shut the door. I still hear all this flapping as I run to get a towel to use ... or something! All I could think of was, where is Travels the Bird Lady when you need to catch a bird! OMG!

And then I realized, it was ... quiet. While I went to get the towel the bird must have flown out the window!

Unfreakin' believeable! LOL

Just spent six days in the hospital for hernia surgery.   Operation took over six hours.  Have a 12" incision.  I had a large hernia (waist area) near my right hip from previous surgery years ago.   The opening of the hernia was 4-5" in diameter and involved both large and small intestines.  The surgeon had to deal with a lot of adhesions.  The mesh he put in wraps around my right hip and extends across the front of my abdomen.   Going to be a long recovery.   Glad to be home though.  Walking with a walker...no fun.   Getting great care though from family and friends.

GG: So glad you came back with an update! I was wondering how the operation went for you. Six days is a long time. You poor thing. I do know it can not be a fun time. Glad it is over. Please take it slow and easy. Nice for you to have good help around with your family.
