It's like watching a salamander go through metamorphosis, but the salamander turns out more beautiful.

@Carlin,,Only you !!.."wears her body"...

@Bee,,,even braining men get slobbery underneath, at least that is what I am told,,,I am naive is what I am to believe...I tell my husband all the time about the "nice" men I work with,,,They are brainy and some of them are even Dr's,You should see the look on my husbands face when he says, " sure there're nice Wink Smile"....lol,,,

My husband is a real gentleman and has never done anything ( that I have seen ) in 20 years to cause me to doubt his gentlemanly manner, but he assures me that he is different then most all other men!,,Roll eyes,of course he is...

Is it possible that In 20 years I have not managed to meet one single nice man,,They are all slobbering hounds underneath?...Thats what my husband wants me to believe,,What says your husband?..Where are those "brainy ones" that see past to what really matters?....lol,,

Moons must know?..

Slobbery, lol. Each has their own "ideal" I suppose. If I had to, I would say that a young Angelina Jolie was among the most visually striking women I have seen, but I'm not slobbering even for that. When I married my wife, she was 34-22-34. After 4 pregnancies, she isn't quite that, but no less stunning of a woman to me as time goes by. I suppose I can be somewhat particular, but I have no use for a morally bankrupt and intellectually vacant barbie doll. No, not even for that. ;-)

by beetree on 01 November 2013 - 13:11

Well, I am not exactly talking about them necessarily being, "nice".....Wink Smile . LOL

@Bee,,Oh, got'cha,,,lol,,:)

@Carlin,,Hmmm ?...I can relate 100%..Your wife and I even had about the same measurements!,,We have 3 children and yes, my husband says all the same things about me and about the useless Barbie,,He does leave out the bit about Angelina Jolie though, remember he never looks at other women to know,,.At the end of the day I don't think I buy it. Magazines and Hollywood would be selling fit, natural, real, intellectually and morally fascinating women!!,,,And that certainly is not the case. What is desirable is what is displayed above in the OP; with or without morality or intellectuality,,And the question is still the same, "Who decides?..the answer, "men!",,,It certainly isn't women deciding as I can't think of one women that I have ever known who would want to live up to that expectation ,,Where is the hatchet!!!...What Smile....lol..

I'm sure many lack the compass to understand the difference, but admiring beauty isn't necessarily longing or lust. Who decides? I suppose that all form is subject to aesthetics to one degree or another. At the same time, the expression of our society's current lack of virtue and infatuation with gross excess may be made manifest in popular culture.

@Carlin,,Very nicely said,,I will think on that,,:)

by beetree on 01 November 2013 - 14:11

Speaking of Angelina Jolie and hatchets... you know it isn't seeming to bother Brad! Who decides? Sounds like you are saying pre-pubescent males are the magazine buyers ... and users....Omg Smile  ! There are magazines out there catering to all sorts of beautiful people, some aren't women, even. There was this big brou-ha-ha about the cover of Elle, saying she was being "covered up". The truth was Melissa McCarthy chose what she wanted to wear on the cover.

Not sure where you want to use that hatchet you have ready for all the menfolk? Sort of like cutting of your nose to spite your face! Teeth Smile

Not all menfolk Bee,,Edward, my husband, dad, son, and Carlin are off the hook hatchet,,,lol.....It's been fun!!,,Don't take it all so serious!,,I wouldn't harm any of those nice menfolk!!,,,Devil Smile...
