These comments remind me of this girl who lived down the road from us.. She would run her horse up and down the street in shorts and little tops.. One day the horse slipped, as soon as the horse got up and we could see he was ok, we laughed our asses off.. She had road rash all down her leg, side, and arm.. We all told her that the horse was gonna fall, running on asphalt.. But she wanted to be cute.. I don't know how cute she felt after her leg looked like hamburger LoL..

Thank god for PBS!!! If not for that station and the few programs that are worth watching (like "The Good Wife") I would never turn on my TV.

That's quite the dichotomy.  PBS rocks, IMO.  "The Good Wife", well...I'm suppose I'm not one for the sensational, melodramatic, scandalous serial. It could be just conditioning from my youth, but I thought that's what the block following the Price is Right was for.

I kinda lost some of my respect for public broadcasting when they began running corporate commercials, and opinionated editorial programs.
And the endless reruns.
I also stopped donating.

It's not what it once was, but then again, what is anymore?  I'm just glad to have some kind of stimulating programming available sometimes, particularly when it seems as though once similar channels such as Discovery and History have, in large part,  gone the way of the vegetable.

It's better than what i get from ABC, but I have to wonder where does all that money go when they rerun things so often and so old.
I refuse to pay for satellite which is also mostly crap.
Good ole FCC.................

As for women on horses in bikini's, the internet offers pretty much anything along those lines I'd care to watch...lol

I like Netflix because they have a pretty deep catalog of documentaries and other quality programming, in addition to the movies.  Unfortunately, their streaming catalog is still far less extensive than their disc catalogue, so you have to deal with the whole mailing thing.

I used them years ago, they almost went broke.
I find less there now than what they had before their financial crisis.
But still find something every once in a while.

It's amazing how much I find on youtube, but much of it gets pulled sooner or later.

I have more VHS and DVD's than Davy Crockett, but you can only watch them so many times before you can't any longer.

Maybe why I come here, bored.....lol
Just watched Red the other night, it had been a while, now there is to be a red 2 on DVD soon.
