I new people like gouda when I was growing up, they put up barricades around their front porch but we knocked anyway.
You could see them through the windows trying to ignore us....lol
No one liked them either......gouda.

I think we should rent a big party bus and all head up to gouda's house for Halloween.

I think that's a fabulous idea Moons. And showing up in our birthday suits will just send shivers down his spine. I'll bet he cries at the sight of us
All sitting on a hay wagon, with pumpkins blazing!

As a Christian, I actually don't "celebrate" Christmas or Easter in the religious context (and haven't for some time); both are indeed pagan holidays. Why would I put any more emphasis on those, given that I am constantly speaking out against the institutionalization of the faith? For similar reasons, you won't find me going around characterizing Halloween as the "devil's holiday". These feasts are nothing in and of themselves, with the significance being only what you make of it. My kids enjoy making decorations for the "holidays", and we don't disallow this, rather we ensure they don't confuse societal and cultural traditions with faith/religion.
