I stopped wearing mine some time back, worst of it is they want another exam before referring me on to the clinic that does the surgery, just trying to milk me for money.

You can forget about clean air for generations to come, and now that someone has said it out loud, you'll know it's everyone's fault.

Dunno about 'now' and 'finally', Moons; there's been a large electronic
sign prominently by the side of the Old Kent Road [in London, England,
and presumably the 'London' that is the source quoted in the article]
for YEARS now, that actively and publicly measures the air quality.
I'd assume places like LA , at least, in America have similar gizmos ?
Why would they be there, if it was untrue or denied that air pollution and
carcinogens are detrimental to us ?

Money..........
Everyone should know but so many live in denial, and money drives everything.
I look at a webcam on the west coast, half the time you can't even see a mile out into the pacific from the shore, and that's with a westerly breeze.
When I saw the Japanese on the TV wearing masks in the streets I thought it was about infectious disease but it is because of pollution.

Ya can't tell people who don't want to be told ...

Wouldn't try, those are the people who are not worth the effort, they can choke on it.
