How did you post your video's?
Personally I try to shoot at something every chance I get.......:)
Just today I fed a box of .38's through my Colt Diamond back.
George claimed self defense against an unarmed man, our gun laws are complicated.

shame about the george thing happening, you actually have gun laws??
not what our media says. WE have complicated gun laws, you got a free ticket it seems.

Nothing's free in water world,
your laws are simple, we have federal, state, county, and city laws, and they are not all the same depending on where you live.
Then there are laws dealing with hunting and firearms, nothing simple about it.
None of it is free, you must pay for various permits and licenses.

well somebody is BS'ing then, the way it is presented here is you can have an unlimited amount of AR's and ammo, just walk in and buy whatever, whenever????
i am confused.
our gov disarmed us voluntarily after a huge massacre by a psycho, martin bryant, skinny young retard from tasmania with an AR15. and all our arms got fed into a steel smelter, then the licensing came in.

Yeah,
your pretty well screwed.
I need no permit to purchase any semi-automatic rifle, or ammo, as many as I want, but the configuration is defined by law, barrel length, stock and so on again depending on where I reside.
Each state varies on state laws.
I can own hand guns but need a permit to carry them concealed.
Also depends on where you live.
I can own a machine gun but I must pay a federal tax and there are many limitations and variations.
Trust me it's very complicated.
P.s.
Not to confuse you, we have criminal background checks and mental health restrictions besides the various permits some requiring finger prints and personal information.
I admit there are ways around many of these laws, but if you commit crimes with or without a firearm you are held accountable for them.

i try follow yr debate re licensing/ownership - clearly a polarizing topic in the US population. what came out of the last round of rhetoric in the wake of the last school shooting, i lost track of the politics?
i am interested to know if anything happened as far as ownership laws.
ETA on the one hand you say how complicated and restrictive it is and on the other you say you can pretty much get what you want given a bit of paper-work, checks and taxes??
sounds more like mild inconvenience than complications.

Politics.....the magic word.
As a people we will not give up our constitutional right to own weapons, as various states we differ on specific firearms laws.
Never trust politicians or the media.
I can carry my hand gun in my state and a couple of others but not all.
i can carry a long gun, rifle or shotgun anywhere with some restrictions.
i can carry my machine gun pretty much anywhere as it is under federal laws but also with restrictions.
Even gunsmithing has restrictions and requirements.
I was a firearms dealer for many years and traveled to various gun shows, some with restrictions and some none at all, depends on where they are located.
There is a great deal of record keeping involved for dealers, but none for the individual other than accountability, an individual can be charged with a crime if a crime involves that individual as an accessory to a crime.

How many times has one part of a couple going through divorce "dramatized' the situation. I call BS and figure there is more important news going on in this world but of course the media wants fluff......

by Two Moons on 09 September 2013 - 23:09
LOL.......
that's what we get fluff not news, saw Charlie Rose talking to Assad tonight but it was on PBS not the major networks.
It was a very good interview by the way.
You can see by the posts we don't really consider Zimmerman the top story, VK4 doesn't even know who he is...lol

no reflection on thezimmerman case if i missed it, many weeks later it started to dawn on me that something big happened at twin towers. so you were a a dealer, i am currently debating what to acquire for hogs. i want something that will not make my dogs deaf at point blank range. a robust rifle, sights and action that can roll around the truck floor and stay in plumb and not blow up in my face. something that won't need to be kept in pristine condition to work. the high velocity 22 cal range is most popular here but i am leaning toward the all lead 30 cal range. i seen a nice action that was designed in the 1800's, nice feel and robust i think it is called a drop action or something, bit like a lever action. like me a mausser action as well.
what you suggest, non auto. and has to be made unusable for transport.
