LOL, I don't think any one having to leave the country they profess to be protecting, and at the same time are wanting complete strangers to entertain their idea of a moral conscience as approval, even as they commit to the act of "whislteblowing", is ever a good role model. There are traitors on one side that are hero's on that opposite side, but if they want respect, let them stay their ground and face the mob.

that might appeal to you cos you have never had to face "the mob", and the mob is evidently dim-witted and violent, still don't think you have addressed the question.

I am too smart "to face the mob". It is suicide!
What was the question, exactly?

question is why are they instinctively seen as traitors and not patriots and brave heroes serving the people??

My first reply bombed out to you. Who knows why? What I said was ... I told you already!
The big fatal fat error is leaving the soil. You can't see why that is important? I would think an Aussie sensibility would get that much.

I remember hearing something about his sexual identity before George Zimmerman trial, I find it interesting that it was just a blurp back then and now that there is no other "important" news, it comes out. Hmmmm
Also Levenworth does not do sex change or anything else like that. I have a good friend that was stationed as a corrections officer there, she said it is not a place to go lightly, it is a prison where there is hard labor, very different from state and federal prisons.

i think the goal is the issue (speaking in general) i don't see staying on home soil is more important than achieving a possibly good goal for that soil. why be a martyr if it does not contribute to yr end game, takes even more heroism? you have not heard of exiles throughout history?
not saying what they done is good, i have never bothered to follow the details. just wondering why the knee jerk reaction of the populace is that of betrayal and not patriotism. maybe the populace has read the details which i lack.
i am sure paul revere was a traitor to the english and a hero to the early americans? without knowing the details of each are not these events the similar?

No. Our country is not based on exiles. We inhale the exiles. That is counter to what we are. Love us or leave us as you found us. Ta-Ta, hope the winter in Siberia suits. Something like that.

Deary me, breakng from the English, well, that was taxation without representation! Duh, things got better for us, and they are the one's needing the idea of country ideals having to go beyond borders. What else can an island nation do?
