Hi Beetree.
Its not a riddle.,its the truth of Gods word.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience,I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world,
TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH..

Cute,
have a nice day would have had a better flow to it though.
Almost poetic wouldn't you agree?
I'm curious about what kind of reassurance RedSable was looking for, reassurance that the world will remain, or reassurance that if it didn't she would be choosen to ride the golden chariot up to the heavens with you and Shtal to live in paradise for all eternity, which is a very long time.
Or perhaps reassurance that she would have the courage to face whatever time brings to pass.
Moons.

My psych prof tells me depression is worrying too much about the past, anxiety is worrying too much about the future.....
My Buddhist friend tells me, don't worry about the past, it is done and over with, you can't change it. Don't worry about the future, it is ever changing and you can't predict. Live in the now because it lasts forever, live each breath and marvel in every thing and remember that you live on in how you treat your fellow beings animal and human.
My Christian friend tells me, be at peace, take a deep breath and have faith it will all make sense someday
My dogs say, after you feed us, walk us, play ball with us, let's lay on the grass and watch the world, oh and can you get that itch on my back????

Oh I try to live in the "now"; it's just that the "now" can be pretty
much as shitty as the past or the predicted future ...
I really hate the glib self-help stuff, whether from Christians, Buddhists
or any other group of self-deluded persons.

Gouda,,What is the point of your comment?..Is this your version of a paraphrased scripture or something you came up with all on your own?..

The point is Deana,God led me to be a watchman 35 years ago.
I take my calling seriously. I try my best to sooth the baby Christians.
In other words I bark out loud. I have a job to do.Im not like some people that say,
if I dont do it someone else will. When God tells me to do something,He expects me to do it.
I hope this answers your question.
Have a nice day.
