Nope, didn't get the memo.
Perhaps a petition is in order.
No hot breakfast, what's war coming too.
Ask a Nam Vet what he ate while on search and destroy missions.
Next they will be taking away their cots and tents.
Put all their money into drones I guess.

"I think it's good in a way, and an excellent tracking tool."
What do you mean by "tracking?" (What, me paranoid??-LOL!)
It seems like a way to vent and an informal survey on interest in various issues. I doubt any decisions will be based on the reponses.

No more or less than any poll.
Except for the secondary data that's collected it's not really all that different.
The who, when, where.

I regularly use our UK version, partly as I don't get about so much these days
and so don't run into campaigns on the streets. Don't have any great hopes
these petitions are really any more successful than most 'paper' petitions.
But one can always try to register an opinion. Certainly they seem to attract
quite huge numbers of 'signatories'.
Whether any dark powers that be would trawl through them for personal info
they could find more easily elsewhere is a moot point for the paranoid among
us.

LOL...
coming from a country with a camera on every street corner.
Data is collected every time you touch an electronic device such as phones, gps, computers, the check out at the grocery store, even cable TV.
This data has power, it has value, and is bought and sold everyday.
It's not so much geared personally to an individuals data, but rather the thoughts actions and habits of the mass.
It's mostly for profits, but it's also for power and will be used against you in ways I'm sure have never occurred to you.
