Big can o worms here, how can a person who violates a child get into Gods kingdom? I mean most molestation is done against the same sex. What does the bible say about child molesters?

"Folks can choose to ignore, disagree, and even hate the teachings and standards of the Bible, but they can not, nor will they ever be able to change or deny what the Bible teaches and the standards it upholds."
Does that include the rape, incest, slavery, torture and infanticide it advocates?

Keith, I do not believe that those acts are advocated in scripture,,Were they tolerated or used for a purpose, Yes...From the beginning of time God patiently and graciously continues to bare with humankind..
GSD,,To answer your question, by confessing and repenting of that behavior..
Hello Vonissk,,
I would like to address your post,,
First, We can not approach the scriptures like a buffet picking what we like and leaving what we don't..I struggle with this myself ...On the contrary, the Old Testament is not "history" it is the means that God uses to point us to the future,,Many Christians assume that the Old Testament is irrelevant,,Not so, quite the contrary..It all flows together perfectly to lead us to Christ!..
Vonssik posted, " According to the New Testament you have to believe Jesus is the Son of God and confess all your sins to become a Christian and guarantee yourself a place in heaven................. "
Yes, this is exactly right!..The only thing I would add would be that we must repent of the sins we confess and it does not happen immediately or all at once, but over the course of ones life..

Isn't that precisely what they did during the canonization process from which the bible emerged?

So then homosexuals can do the same, they can repent. A child molester can wait years and still have feelings for children but if he repents all is good and forgotten, no matter the heinous crimes he commits.
Well I know this will go over like a lead balloon but I hope I don't go to heaven as I can't stand the thought of being next to a child molester all in the name of heaven.
I don't believe this non-sense no God of mine is going to allow this type of hurt on an innocent child of God to go unpunished. Unbelievable to even think a child predator would dwell in the house of the lord.

Small tip, confess it means you understand that you are wrong, and the key point is you need effort to overcome the sin after you confess and understand that you were wrong, that is why it says overcomer inherits everything. (Revelation 21:7)

Keith, Please give me an example of what you mean...
GSD, Sin is disgusting ! Some sins have more devastating consequences then others humanly speaking..But, all sin is forgivable..From lying to molestation the death Christ paid on the cross is sufficient for all sin..This does not show the insignificance of the sin, but the magnificence of the sacrifice!!..
There is only one sin unforgivable and that is the rejection of Christ ..
